THE REVELATION–Introduction

The Revela*on begins in unmistakable fashion: Jesus suddenly appears to
John on the Isle of Patmos to reveal to him one of the most important prophecies
in the en*re New Testament. John was Jesus’ half-cousin, a Disciple He greatly
loved and whom He preserved from martyrdom for nearly 70 years. All the other
Disciples and the Apostle, Paul, had already been executed by the *me Jesus gave
John the Revela*on on the Isle of Patmos in the early 90’s A.D.
